I can't seem to get the rhythm and speed down. I read all the guides and I couldn't find any information as to how fast you have to do it. They just said "Rapidly tap etc." Can anyone post a video up maybe to show how their hands move when double-shining? I tend to get confused when people attempt to tell me by "frames"

Rapidly tap means you have to press B X B or B Y B almost immediatly after eachother. the method i use is to press B then slide my thumb up to the Y and then slide it off the Y as fast as i can back to the B. i can only get 3-4 doing that but i can do it while actually playing somebody. when showing off between stocks or something i like to use my index and middle finger (index on the B and middle on the Y) and just do it as fast as i can. doing that i can get about 10 normally and 15 when i get lucky. try those ways and see what happens and sorry if i didnt explain it as well as i should have im not a literary genius.

hm....I think I'm doing it slower than I am supposed to. And does AR help with DS training?

the best way to do it (in my experimental experience) is to do the first shine normally, then slide you thumb from y>b rather quickly (probably as fast as/ faster than you can). You can then repeat the y>b motion for additional shines (if necessary, usually isn't, unless you're breaking shields). You SHOULD NOT (if you're learning) slide your finger from b>y. because the Y>b slide actually does the full jc shine by itself in one motion, where b>y doesn't mean anything (just shine>jump, oooh, that's usefull when you're trying to double shine...). But the y>b slide is a modularized jc shine, so it can be used for all types of jc shining, like multishining, shining out of shield, or jc shining out of a dash.

I'd suggest learning every method, that way you can do whatever's convenient to you at the moment. I find it's easier to doublshine up against shields using X/Y, whereas when I doubleshine for show I use the control stick.

I don't think i've seen fastfox double shine before... it would go with the whole "fastfox" thing, fastfox: you should put more vids up.

I don't really use it in matches. I just find it unnecessary most times. Sometimes I'll doubleshine SHDL, but that's about all I use it for.

keep practicing by doing B,Y,B or B,X,B simutainously in training mode and eventually you'll get it down.

who is that in that vid anyway? That's not the best use of the multishine anyway.
