I'll start off by saying that I have 2 copies of Smash Wii U. Why? Because, the physical copy is from the GC bundle, I ordered it online I didn't know when it was gonna be delivered at my door and as for the digital copy that is in my Wii U, I bought it cause of too much hype at the time...

So the physical copy of the game is still sealed and never opened/damaged.
However I'm regretting I got the digital copy cause of the glitches and bugs when booting up and playing the game.

I was hoping that my save file (which is in my external hard drive right now.) can be transferred over to my Wii U system without transferring the whole digital smash into the system, then my save file can be played on the physical copy. I wanted to know what you guys think and give out your opinions of what should I do with my physical copy?

1.)Play it on physical and only use digital when I can't find the game or at home?
2.)Sell my physical copy and stick with the digital.

Thanks everyone for your time. :)

I believe that save data is separate from the actual game data. That way you can free up space without deleting your save. You should be able to use save data between the disc and digital versions with no problem. You may want to move the save data on to the Wii U's internal memory, though. It's small enough to fit without eating up too much space.

I myself would just keep the disc. You could always redownload the digital version whenever you wanted. That way you could loan the disc to a friend if they wanted to play. You could always sell it later if you ever wanted too.
