Need help, having trouble telling...

whether a move is punishable or not and what moves are the least punishable for my character ()
also not sure why but i can't seem to do the run-sheild. am i supposed to run-stop-shield or run- sheid. idk but im doing something wrong there. sometimes i do it really well and other times pit just slows down before putting up his sheild. Also do characters have different raising up shields and rolling? sorry for all the questions. thanks in advance.

To put up a shield while running/right out of a dash you actually have to hold the stick in the direction you were running while you input shield. Otherwise it takes longer because if you release the stick you go into your skidding animation.
