Need Help Finding Location for Tournaments.

My friends and I are trying to start a Smash Scene at our school. Right now we're hosting it in a library, but we can't charge; we'd like to start to charge so we can give prizes, get income, and also give to charity (as a part of our CS project). We're trying to host it at our school, but they're very picky; where else could I host tournaments constantly? Would like any help, thanks.

Video Game stores, libraries, other peoples houses, your house, anywhere honestly.

It depends on the size of the tournament.
if it's a small group, see if it's small enough to fit in your house/basement or something. if not, maybe ask a friend with house room available
if it's medium sized, I think your best bet would be to hold it at your school. there might be some community centers that wouldn't mind letting you hold tournaments there for free or not for free (IE: church, library, etc).
if it's a large size, I would rent out some space from a building. See if you can find someone in your area who owns some property available for renting out once a week or something.
