Need help deciding a co-main for Marth's bad matchups

Title pretty much says it all. I've been playing as puff a lot, but I think she has too many disadvantages.

EDIT: I don't have the patience nor the speed to main a spacie.

I'm under the impression Marth doesn't really have bad match ups except maybe Pika. You could always pick IC's if you struggle against Sheik

My marth v sheik is pretty good. I might pick up sheik bc she hard counters pika, but that still leaves the threat of puff :/

If you want a counter to Puff that isn't Marth or Sheik you're pretty much stuck with Fox. Marth is good against Puff for sure though, just focus on learning that match up instead of picking up another character.

Marth honestly goes close to 50-50 with Sheik, his worst matchup (so he doesn't have any bad ones) Outside of spacies nobody really has a good MU vs sheik (or at least better than Marth's, and trust me ICs will take longer to learn well than spacies.

Marth has matchups that he's good at and he has matchups that he goes even in. You don't need to pick up a new character, you just need to learn Marth better. By simply switching characters, you're avoiding issues in your play instead of working to correct them.

Marth does not have a "bad matchup" against Pikachu. No idea where you got that idea.

"just focus on learning that match up instead of picking up another character." You could just do literally that against all the other characters instead of worrying about switching characters. It's way more beneficial long term anyways. Way more.

Idk I don't play Marth so I'm going off of what people have said, and you can't deny a lot of people at the top have said Marth struggles against Pika. That's why I said maybe though, because I don't really know and probably never will

I think marth suffers against pika, especially marths that go for gimps rather than ko's. Since I usually go for cheeki gimps, pika seems like a ****ty mu for my marth. Also, sheik has a chaingrab on pika until 40% or so, but don't quote me on that lol

Marths don't have a problem with Pikachu, they have a problem with Axe. Pikachu is hard to edgeguard, but you beat the hell out of him in neutral like every other mid-tier. And decision making isn't set in stone. Just remember not to put yourself in danger trying to gimp when you're playing against a Pika; adaptation is key.
