I've got a good handle on how to customize the music in the game. When I modify my current setup of music what specific files do I need to copy over and replace?

So far I've just been recopying the whole PM game but I'm hopeful someone knows of a more efficient way than doing that.

Export the files where you change the song title (1 for in game, 2 for the My Music section) and save them on your desktop/laptop for future updates for Project: M, or any updates you might want to do yourself. It never hurts to have a back up for anything you modified, the original Project: M 3.02 and after with what you put.

If you're specifically talking about the .brstms then keep the ones you change in a folder. Personally I have a "Project: M" folder where I hold a clean 3.02 build, and my current modded build that has many main folders like one for characters and one for stages, etc;. The one for stages includes every Project: M and my own added stages (.rel and .pac) plus the .brstms used for that stage along with the song name used in game and the code for it in game like X04, B3, etc

It's always good to stay organized, because it saves you time in the long run.
