Need FG Anti-Projectile Link Advice

Most For Glory Links are pretty easy tbh, but sometimes you find one that just have all the right moves. I need advice, I often do an approach from air to close the gap, but sometimes the whole zone stuff happens, and it is rather annoying to close the gap again. Any advice, and before you bash me saying that all Links are totally easy, look man, not all of them are.
