Smash Wii U Need assistance with TV Lag Online

My TV is a 72 inch Samsung SUHD TV and I have trouble with online lag. The TV makes my inputs happen one whole second after I input them, but ONLY ONLINE! My inputs happen instantly and perfectly when offline and using the same TV as well as when I'm either online or offline using the Wii U Gamepad as a screen. Because I get no lag using the Wii U Gamepad online, I know it's not my internet. I find it interesting that my TV only has input lag when playing online. Please if you know how to fix this or have any suggestions, let me know!
