I primarily play Mewtwo,Charizard,Bowser,Roy,Zelda and whenever I am up against one, I can't figure out an approach. Laser Gyro get's me the most, and gyro up smash set up. I did try the shield approach option how ever that becomes way predictable. I do try and take the gyro sometimes successful sometimes not and It becomes way obvious on how I am going to use it against him. Mewtwo seems like the best bet but he's so light he can get KOd at 60 from him.

R.O.B is a tricky MU to learn. Out of all your characters, Mewtwo is probably your best bet. The general idea when fighting R.O.B is to always be as close to him as possible, don't give him any breathing room. Also do your best to power shield his projetiles.

R.O.B gets combod a lot, and has serious issues landing. So as Mewtwo do your best to juggle him, and get as much % possible when you hit him.

The two most important things to know in the ROB MU IMO:
1) Mix up DI on dthrow in addition to airdodge and jump. If you do you can lower the odds of success below 50%. Also, learn to DI uair so you don't die stupidly early; watch the Beefy Smash Doods video on DIing specific moves.

2) Avoid the gyro ledge set-up by dropping down from ledge. Any other option will get you hit by usmash. After you drop, what you can do after is character specific (ie. use multi-jumps to get back on stage, double jump airdodge to grab gyro, double jump aerial to grab gyro, etc.)

If you're struggling to get around his projectiles, try to stay as close as possible to him while still be able to consistently powershield laser and gyro. After powershielding, approach with dash -> shield. If ROB is auto-piloting and throws out another projectile, you'll be in range to punish; this will force him to mix up his game plan in neutral.
