Need a fingerbang in the right direction.

Hey!

I basically came for a general critique and basically a push in the right direction for an effective way to play luigi.
(P.s. Luigi is very awesome as a character, really counter balances my other main)

@ :21 you can have continued one more utilt and then go for upairs on him.

: 25 Dair spike to utilt was sexy.

: 27 After the upair you had the option of a nair or a bair to knock him off stage. but you did dair which didn't come out right

: 38 never run to him and fireball his face. You should have at least shield cancel it.

: 39 lol, jab and missed shoryuken i hate that sometimes.

1:00 you look like you were scared after you dodged the Fsmash.

1:14 you had the chance to Fsmash him instead you charged a missed dsmash

1:35 epic first kill lolz

1:43 jab to grab would have been nice

4:05 you could have upsmash'd him and won.

Your really good with Luigi. other wise, less sidestep, less Dsmashing moar upsmashs more buffering aerials.

WAY more grabs, more fireball, and mroe tornade, but tahst a solid luigi, psot more matches.

I didn't watch them, but here is my critique.

You need to use fludd a lot more. Luigi can gimp with cape as well, so use those specials. I noticed you were spamming Din's fire a little in the beginning though, so you have to avoid that. Dthrow can infinite like 5 characters, so definitely try and incorporate those into your game as well as the regular chain throw on everyone.

Things you did good - You were recovering with your glide exceptionally. I couldn't have done it better myself. Also your SH Blaster was rockin awesome, especially when you followed it up with the whorenado to Uair. I would say get riskier off the stage and maybe try and use Sheik a little more to rack up damage before you finish him off.

At the end of the match, you missed a lot of chances to get a KO. Once Falco was past 130-140, Utilt can kill, and it's RIDICULOUSLY easy to pull off, it clanks with anything, and is an overall great kill move if for some reason your opponent gets to that high %.

Also, more Jabs! They come out fast (as fast as Nair I think) and they allow for a grab>dthrow>pwnage

As a Falco main, it seemed early on that the opponent was just trying to be flashy.
And it was like he was scared to fight offstage, I mean Luigi can easily be gimped if you know what to do.

You should have ***** his jugular with the Chop when he charged those >smashes.
I don't see why that Super Jump Punch missed.
You vsmash a lot, 6smash is your friend too.
Oh, and more jabs.

You play a nice and safe Luigi, no incorporation of the Green Missile I see.
I guess I'm the only guy who still uses it (probably cause I get lucky and always misfire). :p

ur the only one who still usues it , its a bad habbit. every luigi mains goes through the time of desperation where he green missles as an attack. i only do it when im mindgaming people like ganon. who are slow and have no projectiles. so can't do much about it. XD or if im ahead a stock and tehre off the edge il try to green missle to them then spiek or sumthing

Yeah, try not to because it takes sometime to execute, the movement is very predictable, and if they spotdodge you are screwed because you are vulnerable for so long. Look at green missile as a last resort recovery, if you can SJP or use rising cyclone, do those first. And if you are going to use green missile make sure you know how to sweetspot it because sliding across the stage is dangerous.
