Walljumping? (see above)
C-Stick? (not sure if this was in the How To Play videos.)

Game Modes

almost forgot about stages too, like the Mario Kart lvl weve already seen in clips, as well as stages for characters that are already confirmed. (every character has their own stage, thats a pretty safe assumption from Melee, right?)

Visually Confirmed stages:

Mario Kart stage

Confirmed Characters w/o confirmed stages:

Kirby stage (assuming Halberd is for, duh, Metaknight)
King Dedede stage
Pikachu/Pokemon Trainer stage (only Pokemon Stadium conf, one additional poke stage to be added))
Another Kong stage (1 for both Donkey and Diddy)
Another Hyrule stage(for zelda/link)
2 more mushroom kingdom stages (bowser and peach)

thats 9 more stages that could be expected.

This is a list for useless stuff that we already know about. I'll make a list of the things that are still coming that we DON'T know about though.

This, however, excludes characters since those are exciting updates, and Sakurai might mindgame us yet again (though I don't doubt Falcon or Luigi's inclusion).

Special Moves:
Kirby
Pikachu
Samus
Zelda
Bowser
DK
Yoshi
Peach
IC
Actually - I don't think they'll give away Special Moves for every Veteran. So far only Mario's and Link's are there because there were changes from the Melee setup. I think only Zelda will get a special moves update (Sheik or no Sheik?) and maybe Kirby.

Updated the list. Divided it into NEW and OLD.

@dookie: Is it okay if I steal that music list? I haven't thought about that, but it might be that the musicians given so long ago might have changed or not every musician had a specific song.

Good thread. As the updates come just cross them off in the list. I didn't realize there was so much he could use as filler material.

Yasufumi Fukuda
Yasunori Mitsuda
Yoko Shimomura
Yutaka Iraha
Yuzo Koshiro

OK, wow, weve got 23 musicians who still need to be atached to a song. Now, this musician list is pretty old (May 22nd), but im assuming its still accurate, but who knows, sht happens. With Shogo Sakai soaking up 3 credits so far, its safe to assume some musicians might be double dipping anyways, so this should definitely balance out any one who doesnt end up contributing.

This break down gives me a lot more confidence that the final roster will be bursting at the seems. with 13 songs confirmed for characters/stages, weve got quite a few more to go before were done.

PRAY FOR DOUBLE UPDATES. PRAY

i highly doubt sakurai will cover edge guarding (when you jump on the edge so someone can't get on, right?). It's not really an official technique.

you're forgetting the stage that is in the background in one of the videos... you know.. the one where it shows everyone doing a bunch of moves, and squiretle's move is in front of a purple sky with a moon/dead tree... (haunted mansion?)

donkey kong and MOTHER music were sorta in the stage builder

too bad we couldnt listen to them
Which is why there will probably seperate updates.

you're forgetting the stage that is in the background in one of the videos... you know.. the one where it shows everyone doing a bunch of moves, and squiretle's move is in front of a purple sky with a moon/dead tree... (haunted mansion?)
I put it on there as 'The Haunted Mansion'.

but he could still put up item switch
Added.

i highly doubt sakurai will cover edge guarding (when you jump on the edge so someone can't get on, right?). It's not really an official technique.
I think we will get it. After all, it was in the Melee How To Play video. So it is pretty important. And of course "Fierce Aerial battles often rule the match", right?

And look - we get to stripe Saki off the list!

ohh just got another idea

wat about that triping thingy that no one knows much about exept that it makes you fall on your face

it might not be a big deal enough to put it in a dojo update but it did capture a lot of attention on these boards and it is a new mechanic

^I checked. It's definitely not night-time Battlefield. Battlefield at night has a yellow moon and no scary old trees.
