I didn't see a thread for this, so I've decided to make one. Post anything about College Football here.

The 2014 season had recently started and I'm excited it's back, It's sad that football season only lasts so long.

I'm an Oregon fan and they're currently a favorite for a playoff spot; I think they have a good shot, but that could change instantly.

That's a possibility; I do believe MSU is one of the top 5 teams in the country, but don't take Oregon too lightly. They've proved that when they're at their best they can beat anyone.

Who will be in the playoff? I think its gonna be Oregon, Michigan State, Florida State and I think Texas A&M will get in there too

Even though Oregon is a great team, I'm hesitant to say that they'll get in, Stanford seems to have them figured out so it's hard to say for them. I think Michigan State will get in as the fourth seed, Florida State since they play in a easy conference, Alabama is still a fantastic team; I have them to go undefeated in the regular season. I give the third spot to either Oregon or Oklahoma. I'm leaning towards my Ducks though.

I would Michigan State has a good chance at going far. They're the only B1G team I can see going far. I'm a Buckeye, but with B. Miller down, JT Barrett still learning, while being a pretty good quarterback, and the loss against Virginia Tech, we will have to pull some amazing plays to get back up the rankings. Sucks that we keep dropping and dropping. Wisconsin can hold their own, but prolly not play-off material. Michigan was the other B1G team that had a chance, but they too are tanking. (And they just suck in general.)

Indeed, it'll be hard for Ohio State to get back in. They'll have to completely run the table and play a perfect game to beat MSU to climb up back to the rankings and into playoff conversation. I agree with what you say about Wisconsin - I don't think they're quite ready for the playoffs. As for Michigan... well yeah haha

Yea, I just cant decide which team will win it since there is like 8 teams with a legitimate chance to win it. I wouldn't be surprised if the winner of the SEC has 2 losses and still makes the playoff because of their strength of schedule. The SEC west alone has 6 teams ranked in the top 15, gonna be hard for any of them to go undefeated.
