Hey guys, quick question: Where is the optimal position for a shffl'd nair against shield on spacies? Do I want to hit with the tip or overshoot?

Nair spacing?

Usually you want to hit with the tips of your toes. A big thing about spacies and the out-of-shield options is that their shine basically wrecks you if you go too far inside them, and overshooting does that.
If you overshoot enough that they can't do this, you probably won't be able to land both hits, and you will most likely get punished. Either you hit with the first kick and then land way behind them (allowing them to escape the pressure very easily) or you hit with the second kick and you are too close to them to be safe.
