*Most UPDATED Stats on the Progress of the Tournament*
1v1 Tournament with No Entry Fee
***UPDATED RULES***
The Tournament will begin Friday, September 21st at 8pm Eastern. Most of the matches will be played that day and if there are any emergencies, then the latest the matches will be played is that following day at 5pm Eastern.
These Sign-Ups will last until that Friday at 5pm Eastern in which the brackets will be made at random and it will all be done through a Tournament Maker
The Mystery 1v1 Tournament consists of the following:
-Each player has to pick their opponent's character each of the 3 rounds, without knowing who their opponent picked for them. If there isn't someone spectating, a "code of honor" has to be taken amongst the players so that it can be fair and no slum picking will be made.
For the 1v1 Tournament...
First matches will be set up randomly
Best of 3 Matches
Double Elimination
For the first match, the stage has to be agreed upon before the characters are chosen
Both people agree on a server to play
Before the first match, each player has to tell me their player in private
Loser of the 1st round picks the stage the 2nd round, but the 3rd round both players have to agree on it
Only choose from original 12 characters
P2P is allowed but obviously both players must agree on using it
Banned Stages
Mushroom Kingdom
Sector Z
Yoshi's Story
Game Settings

No Time Limit
No items
Gameshark Cheats
No cheat codes except...
Have All Characters
Have Mushroom Kingdom (only to use for Item Select)
Desynchs
If someone desynchs, the player/s loses their life if they had over 135%
In case of a desynch and player/s had above 25% but less than 135%, they have to put their health back up that high
In case of a desynch and player/s had below 25%, then they just restart over fresh
If you desynch 3 times in one game, you automatically lose that game (out of 3)
Prizes:
Bragging Rights
The rest is undetermined because apparently no one cares for money prizes and the safest way to send money (through PayPal) no one uses. However, if there is money involved, the winner will need to create a PayPal account in order for the money to reach them. And because even if you win I wouldn't pay you.
