My wii freezes when I try to load codes....

...and it's driving me crazy! So, I accidently deleted the File Patch Code that I downloaded. I put a code in for a hacked character, but when I tried it, it turned back to the original character. Then, since I don't know how to delete codes individually, I deleted the whole thing, and inputed the file patch code again, and decided not to bother the code for the character again. "OK, OK, problem solved", I thought. But being the noob I am, I inputed the code wrong I guess, and it froze the wii when it went to the black screen after it found the codes. I tried several times to put it again; even took out the hacks, but same thing. Am I not doing it right, or do I need to delete Gecko OS and re-install it?

Okay. First off, did you reset your wii every time you changed your GCT file? If you don't do that, no changes will be initialized until you reset. I recommend formatting your SD card. For future reference, always make sure you back up your files that you KNOW will always work. That way, any mistakes you make by changing something are easily fixed. If you can get back those original codes, do so. Or, you can make your own GCT and test it to see if it does what you want it to do.

OK, I fixed it. I just reinstalled Gecko OS and it works again. I honestly think the code I put in was corrupted or something, so I just decided not to fool with it again... for now.
