For those wondering what UTA stands for, it's the, Utah Thespian Association, or more well known as the, Utah Theater Association. It lasted for three days the 21, 22, and 23.

I went to the UTA with my theater class on this fun filled field trip because of two reasons, 1. I got two days off of school and 2. I thought goofing off with all my friends in the class for three days would be fun.

On the first day we got on the bus and drove for about 2 hours just talking, and poking fun at each other. We got there a bit early so our teacher offered us 2 choices to either watch a dress rehearsal or go to the mall; I bet you can't guess which one we chose.

Once we walked in the mall we saw that no one was there other than the store's employees. We messed around for about three hours by going to stores, won a few prizes out of the claw machine, crammed ourselves in a photo booth, and the girl's even convinced one of the guys to try on a prom dress. (lol we're weird.)

After the mall of fun, we started the actual program, which by the way was at a collage. I haven't stayed at a collage before; sure I've been on campuses before but never mingled with the students. Everyone seemed so calm and collected, I guess what I'm trying to convey is that collage seems more Grown-up then I'm used to.

The other two day's aren't much to talk about, just me trying badly to impress a girl, Viewing magic shows and plays, wasting money buying over priced food, and going to class after class learning how to do stuff I never will utilize.

Before I end, something worth noting is the play Les Miserables, done by a high school. It was so well done you would have thought it done by professionals. Excellent casting, Directing, and what blew me away were the excellent stage effects.

All in all I think I grew up a little on that trip, when all I was expecting was a few days off of school.
