My Top 4 Most Wanted

Several here are obvious, felt like sharing the thoughts.

1) Ridley - Has the cool aspect down pat, plenty of interesting moves and adds an alien element not really seen before. Seeing as he was almost a teaser in Melee it would make lots of sense for an appearance (there is always the slight risk he might just be a boss in single player though).

2) King Dedede - What can I say, the sheer idea of seeing that penguin puffed up with his eyes all bulging while holding the star mallet makes me smile inside. I can see him blowing Kirby out, or belly sliding into a crowd then eating a massive cake. This also has a good chance of occuring and hopefully has majority support everywhere. Another move could be where his eyes close in anger and he scuttles back and forth before belly flopping at someone.

3) Wolf O'Donnel - I realize most people want to see Krystal appear in this franchise (I can't figure out why, that dinosaur game was a piece of schiza and she's not half as cool as the Kat chick from Star Fox 64). However it would interest me far more to see the Wolf leader enter and bring the hurt with him. They would have fairly free roam for his moves which is fun too.

4) Megaman or Rockman - Whichever title you prefer, he could be an excellent and easily adjusted new character for brawl. The charge up technique can be used while moving unlike Samus' and his potential for "stealing" powers to change the projectile is intriguing. I could see it using a classic Megaman meter over his health to show how much ammo you have from stealing someone's energy (it wouldn't be exact copies like Kirby; more like guns based on the character).

That's nice...should I post my top 4 most wanted...

1) Geno - The star spirit possessing a doll that's body is filled with more hidden weapons that imaginable...Can summon light from the heavens and shoots lasers...Why? C'mon...I posted an entire paragraph today...I'm not going to again.

2) Dedede - My favorite character from the kirby games

3) Claus - Mother needs 2 reps, Claus is just an awesome character and would work perfectly as a second Mother rep

4) Bomberman - Voted for him on the Melee poll...He didn't get in Melee of course Now he may just have a chance...

1] Claus/Masked Man - A very importantt part to Mother 3 and with alot of it's elements showing up his chances just keep getting better!

3] Ashley(WarioWare) - Would be the best decision for a 2nd rep for WarioWare with all of her magic and spells, also her 16th birthday is on Halloween... you never know...

4] Lucario - Best Pokemon rep period, for the new gen.

1. Kumatora - MOTHER is in desperate need of more MOTHER reps. She fills this spot and adds another girl to the roster. Not to mention that she can actually break traditions with her fighting styles.

2. Tom Nook - This guy hasn't been deconfirmed. I say he best represents the series. Besides, how would the Animal Crosser look since there is no default look for them.

3. Ridley - This guy is pratically responsible for setting the events of the Metroid series in place. Not to mention that he's Samus' Bowser.

4. Ashley - She would definitely be a fun character what with granting characters to Hell.

 

[Stado]

While being a seemingly relative n00b to these boards, I've lurked here for quite some time (months, actually), so try not to hold that fact against. Disregarding logic, these are mine own choices for top four most wanted characters, in descending order:

1) Vaati - I know it's not going to happen, but a man can dream, can't he? Vaati is my all time favourite Zelda franchise character. Period. Plus, Smash Bros. could always do with more spellcasters.

2) Claus - Like PsychoIncarnate implied, Smash Bros. needs a second Mother rep and Claus is perfect for this. Even if Ness makes a return (of which I doubt), Claus is still a much needed (and awesome) third rep.

3) Geno - Awesome personified, and in a Nintendo related character no less. If Brawl is to include at least one possessed scarecrow as a part of its roster, please let it be Geno.

4) Ashley - I would have put Gardevoir here but she's deconfirmed. Either way, Smash Bros. is definitely lacking in the "kick-*** little girl" department. Again, she's a spellcaster. Smash Bros. really needs more magic related characters.

I guess I'll throw in something...

1) Lucario: best PKMN rep...and I'm a huge fanboy
2) Geno: he hasn't seen any real games in years (not counting his cameo on M/L: SS)...he's the perfect retro character
3) Megaman: I'm kinda lukewarm about him, but I think he's the most fitting character to take what may be the last third party slot
4) Pachirisu: this is ONLY IF LUCARIO IS NOT IN!! Though it is unlikely, in the event Lucario doesn't make it, I'll turn to Pachirisu, who is apparently well advertised by merchandise...

Mine (now that Sonic, my former #1, has been announced):
1) Krystal - My favorite Star Fox character, shes a very interesting character, and certainly the one who has become most important to the series (short of Fox of course) since her debut. With her staff she could easily have one of the most unique and enjoyable fighting styles in SSB - I just hope Sakurai notices most of her fans want her with that weapon and doesn't pass it up due to its connection to Rare.

2) Isaac - I'm a Golden Sun fan, and feel the series definitely deserves to be represented in SSBB, especially if (as a recent interview implies, its going to be continuing). Isaac isn't my favorite character of the series (that'd be between Peirs and Mia), but hes certainly the most likely one if the series does get a character playable, so I'm hoping for him. Not expecting him, but hoping for him.

3) Mega Man - My personal choice for the final 3rd-party. You just don't get any more classic as a video game character than this (well, without being Mario or DK, anyway), and between him, Mario, and Sonic, we'd have accounted for all the biggest icons of the industry from the 2D era. And with all the different abilities he gained throughout his games he has so many potential fighting styles its simply amazing.

4) Midna - She may not be particularly likely (but then again, who would've guessed Sheik would make it into Melee?), but I can't help loving her after playing Twilight Princess. That game really was more her story than Link's. Shes perhaps the single most detailed, fleshed-out character ever introduced to the Zelda series, and certainly the most interesting. And wielding her unique magical abilities she could easily be a very fun character to play.

If veterans count, Marth would top the list. Can't have Fire Emblem in SSB without him, especially with Fire Emblem DS on the horizon bringing him back to the series, new and improved.

Well here we go..

1.) Lucario- He is a great Pokémon rep for this game. He's got everything a Smash Character needs. Fan base, Good selection of close range and long range moves, and being awesome. Plus he is of the Fighting type. Perfect for a fighting game.

2.) Wolf O'Donnell - I always though we needed more villains. Star Fox could also use another character. I am worried he'd be a Fox Clone. But he's been in enough games to give him a unique moveset.

3. Midna with or without Wolf Link- If you played Twilight Princess you know what a fun Character Midna is. She would be perfect for Brawl. She is a spellcaster, and as Stado said we need more Spellcasters. If she had Wolf Link that would be cool too.

4.) Ridley- If Charizard is possible than Ridley is possible. Ridley would rule. I wanted him in the game since Melee. He would be awesome, and we need more villains.

As for veterans, I want Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Ganondorf, Captain Falcon, Falco, Ness and Young Link back. In that order.

1. Megaman. Probably my favorite video game character of all time. Period.

2. DeDeDe. It only makes sense if you're going to have Kirby and Metaknight in the game, you need to have their main adversary in there in some way/shape/form. I think he'll be a boss though.

3. Geno. My favorite character from my favorite game ever. Mario RPG is a cult-classic and the makers of Brawl would be foolish to avoid this market of hardcore fans.

4. Juno (from Jet Force Gemini). No one's mentioned this guy yet. How awesome would he be in brawl? Probably won't be, but hey, longshots are always fun to discuss

Okay my top 4 k here wego.

1. When Ridley made his 'short' aperance in melee i though he was playable.I was heart-broken once i unlocked all-star mode.If anyone should make it in brawl it should be him.He has the most potencial out of any Metroid rep(excluding samus) Sakurai said he even wanted more metroid reps and Ridley scored 4/5 on the polls.So far nearly all the 4/5 have been confirmed so RIDLEY 4 BRAWL!!!!!!!!

2. King DeDeDe has got to be one of the easyest ideas to put in Brawl ever.5/5 on the polls and Sakurai made him himself.Thats all that needed to say.

3. When a Pokemon that plays apart in my team i think it must bein.Weavile has the right size and is very agile.His attacks could be based on punches and kicks but could contain blizzard or even ice beam.Weavile also apears in many advertisment as a shown pokemon for D/P.he was also one of the first Sinnoh pokemon released.

4.Hmm this was tricky for my fourth spot but i have to say.Mr L alternative costume.
