capcom says they have amazing news i think
hmmm, I dont trust the site completely but I'm going to consider it and hope its true XDBrawl will be released in Japan on January 24, 2008; the American release date of December 3, 2007 still holds. "http://www.thewiire.com/news/998/1/Updates_on_Wii_Software_Hardware_Downloads"
I hope this site is trustworthy.
I find this site quite reliable. Although sometimes i'm not so sure.hmmm, I dont trust the site completely but I'm going to consider it and hope its true XD
I'm sorry i dont have a link for everything i say.Elaborate please?? A link also would nice.
Well America has Christmas, Japan doesn't celebrate it the same way we do.I don't see why people think we will get brawl before the Japanese. You guys do know the game is being developed there, right?? And you are trying to tell me that they will get it almost a whole month later than us??? If anything, it will be the other way around or we will also get it around that time.
And don't forget to mention, THEY KNOW THIS, and IT'S A BIG MONEY OPPORTUNITYWell America has Christmas, Japan doesn't celebrate it the same way we do.
Thats exactly what I am thinking, they're just playing it safe.I think the game is planned to be released on Dec. 3 2007, but they can't guarantee it
QFT, sadly....I don't see why people think we will get brawl before the Japanese. You guys do know the game is being developed there, right?? And you are trying to tell me that they will get it almost a whole month later than us??? If anything, it will be the other way around or we will also get it around that time.
I wholly agree. Everything else is just wishful thinking.Jesus Christ, stop posting that effing link.
OF COURSE the Dec. 3 release date still holds for now, they haven't had a confrence in NA yet to change it.
And the site probably didn't notice the change in the release date on the dojo like all of the raving smash fans here did.
You really think that Japan is getting it 2 months later than us when before they were getting it a month beforehand and our date stays the same?
OUR RELEASE DATE WILL NOT BE DEC. 3RD. MARK MY WORDS.
I agree with the Wii, but Metroid Prime is made in US and Primes games doesn't work that well in Japan. We got the Wii before Japan, we got Metroid before Japan, we get a **** ton of stuff before Japan.
And I would be VERY surprised if Brawl, Nintendo's best-selling franchise and sequel to the TOP-SELLING game on Gamecube, didn't make it out for the Christmas season.
it'll happen.
Now that makes at least some sense...i'm still going not getting my hopes up at all. The closest date i am expecting brawl out is at the exact time the Japanese are getting it.Ok i see it like this two high selling games will be released soon and releasing both games in the same time period may cause a lack of sales.
America
Wii Fit- Jan
SSBB-Dec
Japan is getting wii fit dec 1 though so if brawl comes out will fit is lowering sales
Thank you...now we play the waiting game. Hey, at least the updates won't stop coming, so all is not lost. Here's the direct quote from Iwata's during the conference:
"In order to fine tune Smash bros, with this unprecedented game depth, we have decided that we have to take a little more time to complete the game than we announced before. We are sorry for the fans that are already anxiously waiting for the launch, but we would like to launch this game on January 24th, 2008 in Japan. As for the North American launch, we will review that too, and our local subsidiaries will make their own announcements."
