My Steam account was stolen

I don't know how, but somebody had linked their email to my account, and has changed the password when I don't even have anything valuable on Steam.

I'm really frustrated about this right now. Words could not describe how angry this has made me.

I haven't even figured out how, but it's probably a lot more simple than it appears to me.

If you want support from Valve them self's you have to get a ticket in steam support but i heard it may take a few days to respond.

A few days is an understatement, but Valve can help you get your account back. You can contact support here.

Anyways, general anti-phishing questions:
Did you click on any "odd" links sent to you? (misspelled steam community links, odd-looking urls, etc)
Have you clicked on a link sent to you by a user that downloaded something?
Did a user instantly message you after you accepted their friend request to "add their alternate account"? (These are phishing bots)
Do you have two-step verification on? (Steam recently made a push for all users to add this.)
