My ssbm emulator won't work

I've download ssbm on the computer and when i start the game i can't move the mouse, please help

Try changing the radii to 100 on both sticks, and the deadzones to 10.

Im using a keyboard will it work? or do i have to buy a gc controller?

Sorry for the late response, I've been busy over the last couple days. Anyways, using a keyboard should work; I'm not sure why Dolphin wouldn't function properly with that setup. If you're having trouble with memory cards, try disabling them (Configure -> GameCube -> Nothing in Slots A and B.)
