This song is questioning the rightfullness of killing a murderer.

discontinuing the legacy of life
a life so lost, its home.
Taking what one has no right
stealing, theiving, conniving
what might you say
to take this life, a life none the less.

The paperboy grabs his bundle
throwing the paper, throwing away a life
The headline reads the man hangs, but the jury doesn't.
Would you feel satisfied, is all just
to take a life, a life none the less one all is said
to burn one at the stake, possessions to the vultures
vultures following the hopeless for their riches.
(I know this all doesn't flow all that well... but this was more for the thought/story).
