My SE theory

since it's called Subspace Emissary I expect some space travel to be involved. My theory is that it's all part of one big story and each character offers a small part of it. I think that Samus will be the one to guide each character around on her ship to different games which will be represented by planets.

What I mean is that all the characters start out in the arena like stage in that movie and then after you win Samus comes and picks you up if youre a good guy. If not then Ridley or someone will come. Then the choice is yours, you can see a vast amount of planets and you make your choice. Mushroom Kingdom or Smashville. Then you go to that planet and you fight. Depending on where you go in the smash universe decides who you fight at the end or what cinematic little movie you get.

I also believe that there will be a co-op mode that will also allow for a different play through the game.

Just my hopes for the SE because I'm kind of bored right now

Well I believe the Modea come from outer space. But the phrase "subspace" doesn't necessarily have anything to do with outer space.

Unless you go with the Star Trek/Star Wars definition where "subspace" is the dimension you are traveling in during hyperspace travel.

But I think it has more to do with the Modea. Seeing as how there really aren't any defined worlds for most of the franchises.

yeah I know but I was playing melee and there is that part in adventure mode in which you go from the Metroid stage (after it blows up) and you go to the warp star. In adventure mode. I thought they should build on that

Personally I'd rather not see Link going through outerspace in a space ship.

well there already is that screenshot with him and yoshi looking at the halberd so space travel doesnt seem so far off, and I suppose not all the characters would have to travel through space

I think that the story will follow not just one character. It will most likely just be one story line that incorporates every starter character and their various worlds.

In classic nintendo style it might have 8 worlds....possibly
