My project M won't play

I have recently downloaded project M and i'm not good with any mods or anything but I Downloaded everything I ripped it and put it on the sd card and when I go to stage builder it boots up and I update it but as soon as I updated and pressed play my wii reseted and now every time I press play on the pm menu it resets help?

A common glitch. One thing I would do is keep trying or leave it sitting out of the wii for about 25 min or format it and copy everything all over again
