please help I boot up my smash bros brawl copy i already have my my sd card in my wii with project m but the project m screen does not appear and i made shure i didt have any stages please help

More details, please. When you say "the Project M screen does not appear", how far exactly do you get? Does it stop at the stage builder? Do you get a black screen with white writing on it?

yea it just stay in the stage builder
Does the game freeze, or can you still enter/exit the stage builder menu?

i can still enter and exit out of the stage builder it does not frezze
What size is the SD card? It should be no bigger than 2 GB.
Is the card formatted properly? It should be formatted as FAT32 (check this by right-clicking on the card, choosing "Properties", and checking "file system")

the sd card is 2 GB and let me go check for the rest

right click card - format, then set it to FAT32, make sure allocation size is set to 4096 bytes, turn off quick format and click start or whatever the start button in there says... note that this will delete everything on the card...
btw what is the brand?.. if the brand is PNY you'll have to make sure that the maximum size listed in properties is actually about 2gb...

Is the card unlocked? (the switch on the left should be pushed up)
If so, then try re-installing (delete all Project M files, and download again).
If that doesn't work, try re-formatting the card (make sure to un-check "quick format"), and then re-install.

still not working and if i did everything
It could be your SD card then. Do you have another one to try?

no that needs to be in root... and it's used when applying the codes so it doesn't interfere with anything related to loading the launcher...
