How do you do that with the capture card and still have audio? Or is it just a really good camera?

At lower percentages, you really should focus more on techchasing if you're going to dthrow instead of aerial combos. Your approaches are also a little too direct. You basically charge across the stage with an attack, and a better Marth would intercept and punish you for each one of them. Marth's greatest strength is his priority and you need to find an opening before you rush him because you're not going to out prioritize him.

You're using your second jump too much. If you get hit out of that (which can and will happen against Marth) you're going to be stuck with Falcon Dive against Marth's edgeguarding. Not fun. Trust me on this one. Speaking of recovery, recover lower.

Also, you're looking for the kill too early. You're not going to knee Marth to death at twenty percent. You need to know your kill ranges for different percentages. Depending on percent, positioning and edgeguarding, this can be between sixty or a hundred, I'd guess.

Your comboing looks a little... tentative, I think is the best word to describe it. Don't be scared of him. Pursue aggressively in your combo. The more aggressive you are, the more defensive they'll be and that's what you want. Also, more experience helps you learn spacing and follow ups and such.

Just in general, move around more, be more aggressive and you should be okay.

Thanks, will do. I also need to learn how to consistently gentleman. I've heard a+a+(a+z) is the best, but this doesn't seem to work very well for me. Any suggestions?

At low percentages, d-throw -> n-air against Marth.

A + A + Z (light tap). The third hit usually has to connect.

Thanks.

Oh, and elven arrow, my friend hooks up cables (w/ this blue box thing) from his vcr to his computer, and his mic records us. I can ask him what the blue box thing w/ cables is if you'd like.

Huh, that's kinda cool.

Yeah, I haven't been able to get the A A A+Z thing to work either.

The other way you're supposed to do it is A A then A but you time it so that you don't interrupt the second jab's animation with the knee. Here, I'll show you SuperDoodleMan's stuff on it.

Punch 1

Total: 21
Hit: 3-5
Window of the second punch: 3-25
Second punch starts: 9
-------------------------------------
Punch 2

Total: 20
Hit: 5-7
Window of the knee: 2-25
Knee starts: 8
-------------------------------------
Knee*

Total: 12
Hit: 6-12
intermediary animation: 5 frames

So basically you can hit A again a frame after the hitbox of the second jab goes away... and you've got a window of eighteen frames to do that.

Haha, thanks. From the videos you've seen, which of my chars do you think has the most potential? I'm a bit of a character *****, and I'd like to develop one for my main.

Out of Falcon, Marth and Sheik, I'd say Sheik is your best bet, followed by Falcon and then Marth.

****! My friend hates Sheik, but I guess I'll be helping him against his worst match-up by progressing w/ Sheik. Falcon is really fun to play, so I guess playing him as a secondary will be okay. Thanks!
