My new CSS/background won't show.

I tried this new one and it won't work.

**Note: Don't mind this thread it's not like the other one dealing with a different issue. I'm just using the same thread.

Which CSS is the one you want to use? (I personally love the red custom one) Your CSS can't work or the background? Or both?

Make sure you scroll on the bottom and use the codes.

I'm wanting to use the red one. I downloaded the red CSS and such also I got the essentials(renamed it RSBE01; the codes work just it won't work for the CSS.) and still nothing. I'm using Riivolution.

What do I name the red custom background?



I renamed the "NewNode01" to MenSelchrFaceB.001

Is that right since it's the name of the red custom background or is it something else?

That's for making a custom MENU background... custom menu backgrounds are named "nature_background" or "factory_background". Custom CSS Backgrounds are named "MenSelChrFaceB.001".

As for making a custom CSS, I suggest reading this and scroll down on the CSS part of the tutorial. It'll guide you through how to make a custom CSS background of your own.

Are you using the latest one (new directories like brawlmods/vbrawl) or the older kind? If you're using the older version, name common5.pac to common5_en.pac (I think). The newer version that came out recently doesn't need the "_en" anymore.

EDIT: Uhh, my screen is freezing right when I click "Brawl" on the left of "Special Brawl". Help?

You said you wanted to download the red custom CSS, so you shouldn't do anything with it if you want it red. Download his sc_selcharacter.pac and replace it in common5.pac. UNLESS you want YOUR OWN custom background, then just download one of ASF's custom ones, and go on MiscData[30] -> Textures -> scroll down and find "MenSelChrFaceB.001" and replace that image to anything you want. If it animates, it will animate.

UGH! I tried it all day: everything! The CSS, background, and CSPs won't work and I followed exact instructions!

Can you maybe tune my common5.pac file?

I just needa know how to put it in a download in mediafire.
