Today is my happy day.

EDIT: I wish that Marth were a bit better though. It's a good example of how to fight Marth's, but I still feel like that Marth could've done more to stop you.

Double edit: OMG, DJC Platform wavelands! OMG!!

hahaha love your DJC Platform wavelands...it's almost like a taunt...I used to do that a lot, til I got greedy and punished for it :( but yeah man...your skills are on point and you have a very fluid style, especially your edgeguarding against Ganon, but yeah: hope you can find better opponents =/ that Marth shoulda destroyed some of your well-exectued tricks.

It's not the greatest indication on how to fight against a Marth, it's a good one...but it gives false hope to those who don't play against good Marths :'( oh well, guess I can't say much more...maybe I'll record some Marth/Ness matches too =D

edit: good **** overall!!!

yup yup interesting.
I think that ganon could have been a little better also.
But at one point on your first ganon vid, you spammed like crazy some bairs, which to someone else would have been to predictable and would have been punished for it.
Yah, but I like your ness.

lol, I think the marth and gannon were the same person.

I think I'll watch that doubles match now, I had some luck yesterday with ness in some friendly in-crew doubles when Sheik just didn't cut it. Lost every time w/shiek, all else constant, won a bunch w/Ness. it was awesome.

GreatNess!

Edit: bad pun, I know.

Double Edit: FoD is banned in doubles due to lag, right? I'm not going crazy, am I?

Marth and Ganon were the same person :p. Ness is pretty good in teams i think, he can do a lot of cheap stuff like save ally with pk thunder or yyg off ally (which is lots of fun :)).

FOD is banned due to lag but we werent playing in a tournament so nobody cared.

I still say that Ness must go to magicant before returning as a pretty much omnipotent character. Anyway, I got a yyg off in the first round of the U of M biweeklies yesterday. I only went for the spike Jacket, though...

And one more thing, I realized in the friendlies afterwards that Zelda's death kick can make the other guy work like ten times as hard as you. All you have to do is wall them with death kicks, and they have to work to find an opening, combo you, and not get kicked out of it. Now if only she could DJC...

10 times as hard as 1 is only 10. Imagine that out of 100. And that's what using Zelda's Death kick VS Overpowering Zelda's death kick is on a difficulty scale.

Lol DJC spam Zeldas. I could see a rise in the tier just because of that.
Maybe I can get some vids IF THERE'S ANYBODY IN KOREA. I just moved here a couple days ago so I'm optimistic but still. The only good thing about it is that I'm close to Tokyo. I'm going to try to compete in one of those Ketubato Japanese Ranking tournments. Watch me put up a vid of me getting owned by Bombsoldier or Captain Jack.

That'd be amazing.. Just a wall of djc kicks 1/4 millimeter off the ground. DJC u-air would look funny with her though.

And kinda useless at the same time. Prettiest move in the game = Zelda's nair on FoD.

Whoa, you spammed bair waay too much against ganon. The ganon could've outranged you with his fair...

Ness **** at the end of the second ganon match.

Yeah but Ganon's fair has lag, so as long as you can pressure him with the bair fast enough, he can't do much. But yeah, spamming is bad, cuz if he knows you're going to do it, it's....deadificationism

Spamming bairs is pretty hard to stop with ganon/slow characters. If ganon is able to hit you with retreating fairs then your either too slow, or not close enough.

Your Ness is without a doubt better than mine. Very inspiring.
I've been trying to figure out more grab combos lately and I love the way you grab d.throw DJC Fair repeat towards the end of the first Ganon video. I'm gonna go practice that right now.

Looking forward to more Ness videos

I'm not alienating him, it's just that lately there's been so many people that have been coming to Ness boards, say one thing and then never come back again.
BTW, welcome.

I'm around more than I'm seen. I don't typically post because I don't have a lot to add. I can do all of the adv. techs but not constantly. I usually get beat out of tournaments pretty quickly. I can beat most of my friends with my Ness but they are all in the same boat I am when it comes to tournaments. And of course they beat me a lot too. I'd say there are a few of us that are pretty equal, and due to the lack of better players in our group I feel we have reached a plateau.

Also every vid I make is usually a highlight video from the smashfests we hold between our friends so there's really nothing for me to add to the arsenal.

I do rather enjoy Ness as he is the most interesting character in the game. and I love watching the videos here because they inspire me to improve on mine.

And though you weren't talking about me specifically, I don't feel alienated. Everyone here is very nice(unlike the brawl threads), and I feel very welcomed here. Thank you.

We welcome new people as long as they will actually stay. And it's okay, you'll get better. All of us sucked at some point (some of us still do but whatever). Besides, don't be scared to post. You can learn more things and ask more questions when you post.
