My N64 Controller Analog Stick is unresponsive.

In fact, all of my N64 controllers break.

How do I prevent them from breaking or fix my broken ones?

What I mean by unresponsive is that the control sticks get really loose and only work if I smash them.

You can either just buy a new one, or

Go HERE and it will tell you how to clean your controller

or

go HERE and buy a replacement thumb stick

hope this helped :)

oh and PS cleaning your controller is really tough and it doesnt always work on old controllers. I would recommend just replacing the thumb stick via the 2nd link

Haha.
I actually like mine somewhat stiff. I find it's easier to buffer attacks and not dash off the edge.
