This is a blog that may turn into a series of blogs about me. And by "me" I'm not talking about the bawling idiot that rants about Brawl all the time, I'm talking about... well, the other 80 or so percent of me that people DON'T know. This also gives me an excuse to keep coming back to Smashboards.
Anyway, feel free to comment or whatever. I'll probably leave questions at the end of these to generate a bit of discussion anyway. If this gets locked, it's probably a good sign that I ought to ditch the rest of my plans for this.
And with that, I present to User Blogs...

Meals on Wheels Volunteer
This part is one of the inspirations for this. I actually take this part of me for granted, because I was actually "drafted" into this, in a sense. My mother works as the project coordinator for the local Senior Citizen's Center, and my father volunteers to do the home deliveries, more popularly known as "Meals on Wheels". As it implies, "Meals on Wheels" is a program where volunteers deliver meals to the disabled, elderly, and others who are unable to prepare daytime meals at home. I have been involved in this for... several years now. I won't say that I'm dedicated to it, as high school and later college would keep me from doing MOW routes on a regular basis. Regardless, I just now find it amazing that I'm still at it, and that despite being "drafted", I actually enjoy it. I'm surprised that I get along with the elderly more than I do my peers!
Recently, volunteer drivers getting to be fewer, so I've found myself running a MOW route almost every day of the week. But I still enjoy it. This isn't really weird, is it?
Television Watcher
I don't watch television much, and I probably have a terrible taste in shows. "2 1/2 Men", "NCIS", "Criminal Minds", "Dead Like Me" (sad to see this one cancelled, considering I just now found out it existed), and... a few others I can't name off at the moment. I know more than a few of these have been rattled off as terrible shows here on Smashboards, so yeah, I'll admit my taste in television is terrible, but at least it's entertaining to me.
College Student
I'm a 2007 high school graduate. So this fall will be my third year in college. I'm a computer science major, and I enjoy studying programming languages. It is, however, somewhat difficult to me, and I really didn't break down until this last spring semester. I just... got terribly behind in my coursework due to Smashboards and not really knowing where I'm going in life. However, all that stress and worried phone calls home to my parents landed my 4 A's and B, with a final GPA of 3.8 for the semester. Yeah, perfectionism is stupid sometimes, but I can't get away from it. Prior to this last spring (which would be Fall 2008), I went through counselling on campus throughout the semester over Brawl. Toward the end of THAT semester I was also falling behind as well, and yet again I did well.
My roommate situation for the past two years hasn't been great. The first year I had cool enough roommates overall, but we didn't talk much. But at least we talked some, unlike the roommates I had for the second year, who I talked to even LESS. My parents and I are hoping for a much better situation this coming fall semester. I'll only have one roommate then.
Nintendo Gamer
Again, popular opinion around Smashboards seems to tell me that I'm on the opposition not only in the realm of television, but in gaming as well. I haven't really thought of too many games that I've hated, and so that leads me to believe I may have a poor taste in game quality as well. Unlike television, though, this I can call a hobby.
I own all sorts of games for Nintendo's most recent systems, with my most recent acquisitions being DS games: Sonic Chronicles and The World Ends With You. I enjoyed both games, but SC seemed to have too much of a "demo"-ish feel to it to be anywhere close to the caliber of TWEWY. Anyway, I'm mainly an RPG fanatic, and I HAVE played (not recently, though) SOME form of the first six installments of Final Fantasy. A friend let me try out some of the post-Nintendo FFs, but I have yet to try VII. I've also dabbled a bit in Phantasy Star, playing II and IV. II was a nightmare for me, and IV was much more bearable. I also enjoy platformers, and as the natural enemy of Smashboards, the "casual" gamer, I admit that I follow the Mario and Zelda franchises fairly well. I HAVE at least taken a bit more appreciation for the difficulty in games, so maybe I'll have a more selective eye for video games in the future.
Conclusion AKA TL;DR
I do Meals on Wheels, watch TV, go to college, and play video games. And maybe more stuff.
