My Intro Thread

In Nintendo 64 my main character was DK because he was easy to learn and had good recovery. My highest point was finally beating the game on very hard without continuing.

I decided to join Smashboards because I'm hoping to learn more advanced techniques.

I haven't entered any tournaments yet because I don't believe I'm skilled enough to do well. Some of the things I see on Youtube are beyond my level.

My primary source of income is working in retail full time. With how long I've worked for Walmart I can do any position and had even been a customer service manager for a while before deciding to go back to a nonsupervisor role. I also am part of the MyBB Group so I'm always giving input on ways to make it better and helping solve issues for others.

Outside of work I enjoy Pokemon, particularly the video games. I'm hoping to get enough points to get to Worlds this year. Another thing I enjoy is web programming. While it can be frustrating at times, the finished product always is a great reward. The best part is I'm completely self-taught for PHP, Javascript, SQL, and HTML.

Hello and welcome to Smashboards. Wow that is excellent. You have good skills and a good job. I like Pokemon games too. It's fun collecting and training pokemon and venturing on adventures. You can read character threads for your main in each section in the forums. There you will find a lot of info. as you said some might be out of your reach but trying them gets you further to them. Don't give up. Have fun!
