I mean popular (and realistic) Brawl choices, not just characters...PM would be another form of Mario, and no matter how different their movesets, two forms of the same character is a bad idea...Dr. K is incapable of fighting, so he's out...Doc Mario was a clone, and will be pulled out...Goomba's deconfirmed, and never had a chance to begin with...the AC Villager is actually a legitimate choice...

Hm, I think it's a pretty good roster; you seem to be picking "fun" characters instead of very highly requested ones. I came with some suggestions earlier in the thread, but they didn't seem to be noticed, so I'll quote my earlier message:

Please add Piranha Plant (from Mario), Anju's grandmother (from the Zelda series) and Deku Baba (also from the Zelda series). They are all worthy of being playable characters. They also have very large fanbases.

Piranha Plant: This is a must. The Piranha Plant has appeared in almost every Mario game, thus making it a very important character. Also, since it doesn't have arms, it has to attack using it's head, teeth, etc.

The Deku Baba is Zelda's answer to Mario's Piranha Plant. This character can also have a very unique moveset, since the Deku Baba has appeared in several different forms, e.g. Bio Deku Baba, which is able to freely move around.

Anju's grandmother is a very important character in Zelda: Majora's Mask. She was actually one of the main characters. Anju's grandmother can also have a very unique moveset, and would be a very fun character to play as. Her Final Smash, for example, could be telling a good-night story.
