does the game have a required update on it? and if so, will she be able to play the game thru homebrew, bypassing the update, with wifi and all??

☆ It should accept around 3.3 or 3.4. There was no problem with my Wii when I played it on 3.3, though I can't prove it anymore since I have the latest update. ☆

If it doesn't work, you can exclusively install the patch needed for the game, but you can find out more about that at GBAtemp.net if it doesn't work, just don't update through Nintendo.
