My gamecube lid wont open.

Okay, i come home from work and my gamecube lid wont open when i press the button, all i notice that buttons a little sticky, and dont say "Bring it Back" becuase i dont have any warrenty and i have lsot the reciept... any ideas?

how the hell should I know what to do? Ok, last resort, glue something to the lid of your gamecube, hold down the open button then pull whatever is glued to the lid.

Seriously tho, I'd say take a screwdrive or knife to the lid, or bend a piece of metal into the gap.

Thanks! I used a fork and pushed down the button, it easily lifted, i used a pressure can with air in it to blow clean it, and it opens like new
