My game freezes at random moments

Ok so I am not exactly sure where to post this since there is no specific area to post this in so I'll just post it here. Anyway,so my game freezes at RANDOM times. I have no idea what causes these freezes but I can tell you for sure it doesn't have to do what I do in the game. I tested several times certain things that caused the game to freeze before and it didn't freeze when I did the same inputs the second time (at least I think since I can't remember all the exact inputs I've done, but I do try out for example I click classic and it freezes when I select a character and then the second time it doesn't). I was thinking it could be my game or my Wii U. Any ideas?

P.S: I've been thinking about returning my disc but I am really wondering if it will help this issue. I also want to know if this is ruining my game and Wii U. Thank you.

Here are some questions I have to ask you.
Does every game on your Wii U freeze or just Smash?
Did it freeze when you first got the game?
Can I see a video of this?

1- Just for Smash 4, although Nintendo Land only froze once.
2- Yes
3- Well how do you want me to record it? Like when it freezes or the effects of it freezing?

Record the game from the time it boots up to the time it freezes. I think it's a problem with your game, but if Nintendo Land froze once, then it could be your Wii U... it's most likely your game.

If I was you, I'd get a lens cleaning disk for your Wii U to be safe, and invest in a disk cleaner. Keep your games in their cases and try not to get your hands all over the shiny side, and keep them off surfaces (If you put them down, put them shiny side up, dust can be brushed off with a piece of clothe lightly).

Do you know where I can get one? And will this solve the problem?

Ok I'll try to record it but it might take awhile because I am currently busy irl, but when I have the free time I'll try to record it with my crappy webcam :p
