My friend said there's a third jump glitch? (3DS)

So, after I downloaded the 3DS version, I started playing with my friend. It was a team battle 2 human 2 CPU's stage was Arena Ferox. The weird thing that happened on his screen was one of the CPU's jumped a third time. I told him to send me the replay from his perspective. I'm wondering if this happens to anyone else too. (BTW I don't have the replay yet.)

The cpu probably footstooled and he saw the animation of the "third jump." It is not a glitch.
