My friend and I are trying to play Brawl+ online...

...but how do we connect if we're using the same save file? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm quite new at this.

lol... it's actually quite easy.

1) Get his friend code
2) Brawl him

That's it (assuming save file is meant to be the same edition of B+)

Um...I might have misread something in the Brawl+ FAQ, because it says all players have to use the exact same save file (as in, the save file containing all save data for Brawl, characters unlocked, stickers gotten, etc.). So you only need the same edition of Brawl+?

... no you don't need the same save data! You don't even need to have all the characters and stages. It's the same edition of Brawl+ that matters.

LulzingonFire, your friend must have the same GCT file as you got for Brawl+ in order to play online. Like Version 5.0 Official Build RC1 for example.
