GREETINGS,
I'm Huge, one of those filthy casuals who's going to be attempting to join the competitive scene in the newest iteration of everyone's favorite nostalgic sumo wrestling simulator.
I'm currently grossly inexperienced at all Smash games, and the most advanced competitive techniques I am capable of employing are pausing at inopportune times and making the disconnection of the opponent's controller look accidental. I am very proud of these two skills, but in the light of the new releases I think it's time to branch out. For example, I have recently taken up finding attacks with high priority and then using those exclusively with no strategy whatsoever. It's helped me a lot when playing against the standard level 3 CPUs, and, not to boast, but I can beat one roughly 75% of the time, depending on items. However, I'm confident that, with practice, this ratio will increase even more.
Please feel free to offer me sage advice and kind words. When Brawl 2 comes out for the 3DS, there won't be any enemy controllers to unplug, so I'll be forced to try strategies even more radical than before. I'm thinking of developing a technique, for example, which involves outright slapping the 3DS right out of my opponents' hands when they're oblivious to their surroundings! So much for "handheld system", am I right?
