Not giving a chainsaw...about anything
Hello everyone, I've benn playing pokemon dp competitively until i got tired of EV training scouting endlessly for the perfect IVs and such. But then, i tumbled upon Shoddybattle and keept playing from there. I've been working hard on making the best team i can based on a key baton pass. Anyways here it is, I'll explain what i do with the pokemon after introducing them.

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Jolly | Pressure
252 speed 252 atk 4hp
~Stealth Rock
~ Taunt
~Crunch
~Ice fang

Bronzong @ light clay
Relaxed | Heatproof (for mindgames)
252 hp 252 spd
~Light Screen
~Reflect
~Explosion
E~Q

Gliscor@ lum berry
Jolly | hyper cutter
252 hp 196 spd 60 speed
~Swords dance
~Agility
~Baton pass
~taunt

Metagross @ lum berry
adamant | clear body
252 speed 252 atk 4 hp
~Meteor Mash
~EQ
~thunder punch
~icepunch
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ninjask @ leftovers
Jolly | Speed boost
176 hp 252 atk 80 speed
~Protect
~Swords dance
~Substitute
~Baton pass

Rhyperior @ lum berry /lum berry/ 252 atk 252 speed/ adamant/ solid rock
Adamant | solid rock
252 atk 252 speed 4 hp
~Aqua tail
~EQ
~Stone edge
~Swords dance

Ok first up is aerodactyl , taunt first to cripple other leads, then stealth rock and use crunch and ice fang till i die

Next is bronzong, set up dual screen then explosion or EQ if it'll be super effective

Next is gliscor, again taunt if i feel i'm against a gimmicky pokemon (trickroomers and such)
if not or after the taunt use agility and then swords dance until i eventually have to baton pass

Next metagross, the sweeper, never have i lost a match yet having successfully baton passed to this guy.

ok you guys saw the line i drew after metgross, i use ninjask and rhyperior only when my strategy fails and i use them as a hail mary

ninjask does ninjasky stuff (protect substitute swords dance) then baton pass it to rhyperior and sweep up.

You should try using the following format for your team to make it easier on the eyes.

Pokemon @ Item
Ability / Nature
EV Spread
~ Attack
~ Attack
~ Attack
~ Attack

Also, if you're really aiming to setup Rhyperior run Jolly, so you're (lol) faster.

This could mean one of two things.

A. This team is untested.
B. Ninjask has never had even a single chance to Baton Pass while you were using it.

This can mean a lot of things >.>

My first OU D/P team used Ninjask, Electivire, Rhyperior, and Gravity Blissey, and I almost beat Roacherman with that.

Don't underestimate random ****.

BTW, Scizor is a common thing to bring into Ninjask. It can Bullet Punch to beat its subs, which also hurts Rhyperior badly, not to mention you have TWO Baton Passers on this team then, which you don't even need (you don't even need 1).

My suggestions?

Give Metagross Agility over Ice Punch.
EQ and Rock Slide over Crunch and Ice Fang on Aero
Drop Jask, Rhyperior, and Zong. You don't need any of them. Jask sucks, Rhyperior sucks, and you don't need Dual screens.

It looks like from the standard-ish sets, you go to Smogon for them, correct? Replace Gliscor's BP set with wallbreaker, there's enough stall out there to warrant it. Make sure to put Toxic on it.

You need a Heatran. SubTran of some sort. Some sort of offensive substitute or TormentTran should do fine.

You need an Infernape check. Gyarados should do you well, Smogon's Bulky DD set works just fine.

Now you've got one last space. Pick a Grass type to go in there. Celebi, Shaymin, or Breloom. Any will do fine, but I suggest to go a defensive route if you choose Celebi, offensive if Shaymin or Breloom.

Team is now tolerable.

No EQ? Why run Crunch and IceFang? EQ is a must, and STAB rock moves are preferred as well

Bronzong @ light clay
Relaxed | Heatproof (for mindgames)
252 hp 252 spd
~Light Screen
~Reflect
~Explosion
E~Q

meh. I still would run Levitiate, so you can switch this guy in easier.

Gliscor@ lum berry
Jolly | hyper cutter
252 hp 196 spd 60 speed
~Swords dance
~Agility
~Baton pass
~taunt

RockPolish>>>>>
Having an attacking move would be nice as well, don't run both Agility and Swords Dance, you will be lucky to pull of one of them.

Metagross @ lum berry
adamant | clear body
252 speed 252 atk 4 hp
~Meteor Mash
~EQ
~thunder punch
~icepunch

Why run Lum if you aren't going to be an agiligross? Agility over one of the punches, and try out rockslide as well. Hits Gyra, Rotom forms, Dragonite, and others for some damage. Or you can try out an Explosion.

Ninjask @ leftovers
Jolly | Speed boost
176 hp 252 atk 80 speed
~Protect
~Swords dance
~Substitute
~Baton pass

Meh, protect and sub? Not an expert, or a fan, of baton pass teams so I wouldn't know.

Rhyperior @ lum berry /lum berry/ 252 atk 252 speed/ adamant/ solid rock
Adamant | solid rock
252 atk 252 speed 4 hp
~Aqua tail
~EQ
~Stone edge
~Swords dance

Why run SD if you have 2 baton passers capable of passing those? Too much of your team relies on setting up, so I would either change the moveset, or better yet, change the pokemon.

Ok first up is aerodactyl , taunt first to cripple other leads, then stealth rock and use crunch and ice fang till i die

EQ/Rockslide would be better.

Next is bronzong, set up dual screen then explosion or EQ if it'll be super effective

meh.

Next is gliscor, again taunt if i feel i'm against a gimmicky pokemon (trickroomers and such)
if not or after the taunt use agility and then swords dance until i eventually have to baton pass

You need an attack. And unless you are playing against terrible players, good luck pulling off anything more than an agility.

Next metagross, the sweeper, never have i lost a match yet having successfully baton passed to this guy.

Sure. But Metagross isn't powerful enough to completely sweep a team without SD, and he is too slow without Agility. I would focus on getting him speed over power.

ok you guys saw the line i drew after metgross, i use ninjask and rhyperior only when my strategy fails and i use them as a hail mary

not a great backup plan =/

ninjask does ninjasky stuff (protect substitute swords dance) then baton pass it to rhyperior and sweep up.
Don't run SD on rhyperior then.
Comments in bold. Sorry if my rating sucks, baton pass teams are gimmikey at best, and this one is no different. Sure, if you manage to pull it off, it almost gives you the game, but this team is one of the lower quality baton pass teams I have seen. There are no special attackers on this team, allowing the powerful walls of OU to lol at your team. Skarmory and Hippo, along with walling the **** out of your team, can phaze out any boosts you are trying to pass, and you don't have an answer for them. Consider rethinking this whole team bro, and try to stay away a team that relies completely on batonpass for success.

EDIT: If anyone cares, I just went up against a baton pass team that almost got me. I guess I should cut and paste in the log that noone will actually read.

Maybe you're wrecking the people at the very bottom of the ladder.

There are plenty of people worse than you. It's just that none of those people are any good to begin with.

To be fair, you were playing with Pink Reaper. =D

But yeah, I would start over on thinking about your team. If I were to make a new team today, I would use ScarfJirachi =) Start from there lol.
