This is my current team and only team I've ever bothered to make in pokemon aside from my ******** blue team when I was a kid. Been thinking of maybe making a new one but I guess it'd be nice to see what people think of this one.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Timid
EVs: 82 hp/252 sp.atk/176 speed

Draco Meteor
Flamethrower
Hydro Pump
Hidden Power Electric

OR

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Jolly
EVs: 82 hp/252 atk/176 speed

Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
Thunder Fang/Stone Edge/Brick Break

My lead has two versions. Sometimes I run the special one, sometimes the physical. Both seem to work well but I think I like the physical one better. Not sure on his last move though.
Other than that, they outspeed everything and get some nice surprise kills.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Timid
EVs: 6 hp/252 sp.atk/252 speed

Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Destiny Bond/Counter

Pretty standard Gengar except maybe the last moveslot. Not sure which move I like better though.

Metagross @ Life Orb
Rash
EVs: 206 atk/252 sp. atk/ 52 speed

Earthquake
Hammer Arm
Psychic
Grass Knot

My mixed sweeper I made up when I was bored >_>. Outspeeds walls/tanks/etc.. basically what it can without devoting too many EVs to speed. Seems to work pretty well.

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Adamant
EVs: 18 hp/252 atk/240 speed

Hi Jump Kick
Psycho Cut
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch

Standard hard-hitting Medicham.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Bold
EVs: 252 hp/252 def/6 speed

Seismic Toss
Counter
Thunder Wave
Softboiled

Boring old Blissey. Counter because it works well, thunder wave to slow down things when needed. ST for some good damage.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Impish
EVs: 252 hp/252 def/6 speed

Earthquake
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock
Roar

My physical tank. Sets up stealth rock when possible. Pretty much tanks and supports, occassionally attacking with earthquake. Not sure if I should change EQ for ice shard though. Also, not sure how much I like this guy. Sometimes, he does really well, other times he can feel like dead weight.

I'd go with Physical ScarfMence and Tfang
Gengar would like Destiny Bond.

You could move those Speed EVs to SpDef and turn Metagross into a mixed tank... (Change your nature though)

Ice Fang > RS on Donphan

Gengar likes taking down its foes with it.

If it walls/tanks how come it has no EV's in Def/Sp Def? Hammer Arm on Gross?? :ohwell:

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Adamant
EVs: 18 hp/252 atk/240 speed

Hi Jump Kick
Psycho Cut
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch

Standard hard-hitting Medicham.
Good. I don't like Hi Jump Kick though...

I don't see Ice Shard in there...

Ice Fang > RS on Donphan
Yeah that's what I was thinking with mence but I wanted to see other opinions on the last move.
For Gengar, destiny bond seems a little too predictable for my liking whereas a counter while it's at full health seems like it'd work better.
I like metagross as a sweeper, since I already have two walls. Also, he can take hits okay as is. To make him a full out tank would take away too many ev's from his offensive game.
I guess you mean Ice shard for donphan, but I don't think I want him to lose RS. Although, I'm thinking of replacing him totally for someone with taunt.

To Terywj:

I don't really like specmence, it's too slow and predictable in my opinion, also I'd have to change the ev's and such...

As I said with metagross, he's meant to mixed sweep. His speed ev's are so he can outspeed tanks/walls etc.. Hammer arm is there because it's been working pretty well. I originally had explosion but it wasn't very useful and I couldn't think of a better move than hammer arm for him.

For hi jump kick.... yeah missing sucks but 90 accuracy doesn't miss too much.

For donphan, I said I was thinking of replacing earthquake with ice shard and wanted opinions >_<

anyways, thanks for the comments so far

Well, if you're using special attacks then just use Choice Specs. Trust mii, the power from Specs will offer better rewards than the speed from Scarf will.

OR

Salamence @ Choice Scarf

Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
Thunder Fang/Stone Edge/Brick Break

You may as well go with Adamant because, again, power > speed in this case. Use Fire Blast for Skarmory.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Timid
EVs: 6 hp/252 sp.atk/252 speed

Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Destiny Bond/Counter

Pretty standard Gengar except maybe the last moveslot. Not sure which move I like better though.

You should put Counter over Focus Blast and keep Destiny Bond. That way you can Focus Sash-Counter, then Destiny Bond the next Pokemon, which means two of the opponents Pokemon can cheaply lose to this Pokemon. (I might use that...)

Metagross @ Life Orb
Rash
EVs: 206 atk/252 sp. atk/ 52 speed

Earthquake
Hammer Arm
Psychic
Grass Knot

Okay.

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Adamant
EVs: 18 hp/252 atk/240 speed

Hi Jump Kick
Psycho Cut
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch

Standard hard-hitting Medicham.

Trust mii, use Brick Break over Hi Jump Kick.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Bold
EVs: 252 hp/252 def/6 speed

Seismic Toss
Counter
Thunder Wave
Softboiled

Boring old Blissey. Counter because it works well, thunder wave to slow down things when needed. ST for some good damage.

Good.

First time I've really bothered to look at this board lol, but I've been playing d/p off and on since it came out.

Don't really think I want to change my lead much though, the speed catches everyone off guard and helps it get easy kills on some annoying pokes like infernape, weavile, ninjask, other dragons etc.. etc.. As it is now it's still pretty powerful but I'll look into giving each version more power.

I like the idea for Gengar, I'm gonna have to test that out now :D

Any particular reason besides missing = painful for brick break over hi jump kick? Like is the damage difference negligible? lol damage calculations are where I get lazy and don't bother so much with :\

Also, lol at the various suggestions for replacing hammer arm on metagross. Makes it hard to pick one. But as I said, hammer arm does work pretty well on him and I may just keep it. Heck, it helped him sweep the last 4 pokes on a team tonight :D

I remember this one thread at Smogon that said how many ways you can hurt your self from Hi Jump Kick... I know there's if it misses, and if it tries to hit a Ghost. Smogon doesn't have its search tab up, though.

Happy holidays!

I recommend you look at my new mixmence set for a starter, he's incredibly hard to deal with, even weavile. starmie kicks his *** though. actually, starmie should kick your *** too since all of those are scarfed these days.

destiny bond only works if you're insane. good choice, keep it. or don't and get a grass attack. drop counter.

use smogon's standard metagross set for the CB version, it's amazing and probably the only standard set I actually like. I use bullet punch EQ MM and explosion personally.

max out medichams speed, the other 3 HP aren't going to save you any time soon. consider using cross chop on him.

drop a HP and give blissey 8 speed EVs. outspeed other blisseys. consider sing, as it's pretty gay to switch into.

donphan could use his last point in spe def more than speed. no real fixes.

typings are well balanced but you have no spe def when blissey is gone, and blissey can't deal with sub+CM combo. Raikou ***** you, but no one plays raikou so you'll be fine. Much better than most of the teams I've seen.

Yeah, I'm considering your salamence, it is pretty sweet.

I think I might actually go with taunt for the last spot on gengar >_>

I'll make the changes to medicham, blissey, and donphan. Not sure about using cross chop though, lol didn't even realize medicham got it.

I'm also considering redoing the team/making a new team. The main problem I seem to be having is with teams that spam walls >_< ..I dunno, this is gonna take some thought.... Anyways thanks for the comments so far.
