Marth is an effective edgegaurder now that he has a higher UP+Special. You can use him more aggressively off stage.

Alot of his attacks have far knockback as well (Forward+Special, FAIR), so getting and keeping people off the stage is the Brawl Marth's forte (as opposed to Melee's Smash-the-Opponent-off-screen or combo-to-spike).
