My alternate character Idea

I've got this great idea that should solve some problems.
Near the character icon, there should be 2 buttons, each one should change the character into another.
Example:
Link's secondary should change Link into Young Link
Samus's into ZSS (of course, samus should change in ZSS after her final smash too)
Mario's into F.L.O.D.D. Mario, geting a new movement
Zelda's into Sheik
Wario's in his old Wario Land Suit, having B moves like:
B: Elbow Smash
Smash+B: Smash Run: Like fox ilusion, half speed, double damage
Up+B: Bomb Jump: Blows a bob omb at he's feet (kinda sheik's up b from meele, but wario jumps, not teleports himself)
Down+B: Buttstomp
And his FS could be smash aura (kinda yellow protecting shield surrounds wario, making him look twice as bigger and giving him atack and end bonus)

Its a clone character sharing the same slot, and you might as well separate them because they are taking up the same amount of space anyway. Its not like putting them into someone else's slot makes a real difference in space...

I told it here like a month ago.

Umm well my idea was that when you change clothes by pressing X or Y with GC controller example Mario could change into Dr. Mario.

I somewhat endorse that idea, even though there are some characters that may be hard to think of "other forms" for (Ike? Pit?) However, I'd love to play as say, Fire or Fighter Kirby, where he couldnt inhale but had various moves from his KSS list.

hmm, i think this would be solved by the simple addition of alternate costumes, but no new move sets.

Sure, I guess. If there are any clones.

The Samus<->ZSS thing might be a nice touch, though.

Hahaha, I had literally this EXACT idea (and made a thread about it) a long-*ss time ago. It's great to know someone else was thinking the same way I was! I think this would be a great way of having clones, without making them "official" characters. In my opinion, clones are awesome, and I'd like to have as many as possible.

This would be an awesome idea, and would give us the possibility of having so many new characters, without having them take up a slot on the selection screen.
