My 15 Series Theory (Spoilers?)

Note that nothing I express in this thread is expressed as a fact, but rather as theory.

So I recently happened upon this interesting little tidbit. One of the most interesting things that he said, in my opinion, was:

There are over 15 represented franchises in Brawl with characters.

15+? Wow, doesn't sound too shabby. Lets review what we have thus far:
Mario
Zelda
Kirby
Pokemon
Star Fox
Metroid
Donkey Kong
Yoshi
Ice Climbers
Kid Icarus
Wario (Ware or Land, it isn't specified)
Fire Emblem
Metal Gear
Mother
Sonic

Did I miss any? I hope not. Lets count. 15.
Hmmm. Interesting. This seemingly reliable guy predicts more than 15. Problem is, this is a vague statement, since it could just mean 20 or merely 16.
Well, one character nobody is denying will be in is Captain Falcon, I mean, come on.
So throwing in F-Zero would raise the count to 16.
What other series might be represented? Well, one very likely one seems to be Captain Olimar of the Pikmin series! I feel they'll surely work out some way for him to be playable, which would raise the count to 17.
I also feel that Isaac from Golden Sun is a very likely character, meaning 18 series.

Well, my mind is starting to slow down now. I'll say 18+ likely series in Brawl, as far as playable characters go. Anybody with a comment, I urge you to reply.

sigh... The icons don't mean anything. Just because we saw a DS icon, doesn't mean the stylus is confirmed for brawl.

Yeah, I thought about that. But I think the author of the blog would have taken that into consideration, because if what he says is correct, there are more like 30+ series represented. I believe he may have meant "Playable characters" when he said "characters".
Or at least, I hope so.

I assume Pikmin, and AC, and possibly Golden sun (Oh, and F-zero) are the ones past 15. Leaving nus with 19 series represented, a few of them having only one character.

Me? Well, I personally hope at least one more third-party game is represented in Brawl. I have no preference for this, but as far as other third-party characters go, I would love to see Knuckles from Sonic.

i still dont think the dojo symbols mean anything. If sakurai wants to keep a character hidden (that means you tamagon ) then he is perfectly capable of not giving someone (Devil) a logo. The reverse is true here, AC could just get a stage, but he puts up a logo because he has one.

In what Country? the poll I saw HERE placed Ike 4th, Ridley 5th, Olimar 6th..etc.etc. Dedede, Diddy and geno were the only ones ahead of them. I see no floating head!

He is pretty rare, but it's worth it when you get him.

That doesn't sound believable at all to me. I don't doubt NiGHTS chance of being an AT, but that effect doesn't sound realistic at all.

To the guy's first update today: I'm sure every character from the original SSB will be in Brawl, but it didn't take a prophet to say that. I mean Ness, too!

Uh... 15+ series playable is a complete no-brainer. Any idiot could have made that prediction. There are 21 icons on the list already. 2 of them are unknown - one of which is almost certainly Game & Watch, the other is a new franchise. Smash, Animal Crossing and DS might not have characters. Considering that F-Zero is obvious, that's already 16 playable franchises.

Yeah, I know, anybody could have said 15+ since we can almost certainly confirm 16. I just started this topic to get the ball rolling on what series would most realistically make it in.

I can say the icons mean something, but it's just a list of pictures.
You can't rearrange them and see the answers.

It's all speculation.
You can't really say ANY prophet is fake unless proven otherwise.
And we can't do that, because the game is not in our hands.

True. I very happy with all of the ones that got more than 2 votes, Im also glad K. Rool got 2 votes, as did Claus. hopefully theyll all make it as characters, only one Im truly skeptical about is Taka.

I'm not to sure what that means though, but I guess it means that Claus has even more of a chance now.

And I'm not to sure who Taka is really, but I guess there's nothing I can do about it. If I have to be fighting with a blue Samurai soon, then so be it I guess.
