Do you ever find yourself in-game listening to the same tiring songs over and over again? Why not turn it off and put on your own tunes? A smasher suggested doing this in a thread somewhere so kudos to them. It's a great way to improve your learning comprehension. Personally, I'm able to concentrate tenfold during tough matches with something like smooth ambient drifting in the background. What do you enjoy listening to when smashing?

I like listening to the game's songs. I don't find they tiring at all.

☯ While loving the music, I only mute the music if I play a competitive match. It increase my concentration for almost all the fighting games I play. Hearing the characters moves and sound effects works well for me.

Never tried to play completely without music- I muted the ingame music, so that I can listen to music I like while playing...
I'll give it a shot the next time I have an interesting match

I actually do mute the music, and turn off character/announcer voices, only leaving good old sound effects on. Helps me stay concentrated.

I was watching TKBreezy's stream and he seemed to have the music muted while he listened to his Godlike beetz and so I decided to do the same, and have been enjoying my own music while I play that isn't clashing with the game's music. I don't find the Smash soundtrack tiring, though, and will surely turn it back up sometime. It's a nice change.
