Hi i'm new here and i had a couple questions regarding file replacement when it comes to music. I have already successfully utilized the "file replacement code" coupled with the "alternate stage loader code" in order to allow the selection of alternative stages through button presses. My question now is how to add extra music to the mix.
I am aware that is is possible to replace brstm files using "the file replacement code" and have done so with success, However, I was wondering if there was a way to add brstm files to the my music selection dialog without replacing the old files (EX: if battlefield has 4 selectable songs, I am able to use a code to make the selectable number of songs expand to 6 with the added 2 being my own custom brstm files).
If the above method is impossible, my other question would be if it is possible to utilize the "alternate stage loader code" as an "alternate brstm loader" so that i would be able to load custom music through a button combination at the same time i'm loading my custom stage through my button combination.
I'm sorry if this question seems a bit long-winded, but I've searched the forums with no luck in finding an answer to my question.
Help/Advice would be greatly appreciated
