Music Roster Expansion Possible?

Hi i'm new here and i had a couple questions regarding file replacement when it comes to music. I have already successfully utilized the "file replacement code" coupled with the "alternate stage loader code" in order to allow the selection of alternative stages through button presses. My question now is how to add extra music to the mix.

I am aware that is is possible to replace brstm files using "the file replacement code" and have done so with success, However, I was wondering if there was a way to add brstm files to the my music selection dialog without replacing the old files (EX: if battlefield has 4 selectable songs, I am able to use a code to make the selectable number of songs expand to 6 with the added 2 being my own custom brstm files).

If the above method is impossible, my other question would be if it is possible to utilize the "alternate stage loader code" as an "alternate brstm loader" so that i would be able to load custom music through a button combination at the same time i'm loading my custom stage through my button combination.

I'm sorry if this question seems a bit long-winded, but I've searched the forums with no luck in finding an answer to my question.

Help/Advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Sorry, but adding new music stuff to the my music menu is impossible at the moment. We can't even use the old slots left behind by the "lost titles".

However, there is a long winded way to increase the amount of music you have on a stage by a bit. You can try swapping two stages (ie. Battlefield and a stage like Eldin, which has more music available), by swapping both of their stage .pac files and .rel files. You're going to have to edit the rel files though to do that. Here's the tutorial for .rel file editing if you're interested.

And if you want to keep all the themes that battlefield has, you're going to have to swap the eldin ones with them and vice versa. Also, if you want to swap the two stage select icons, you're either going to have to use a stage select screen code, or use brawlbox to swap them.

OK, thanks for the info, I'll probably just swap out some brstm files that i don't listen to that often, while keeping my favorite original tracks.

Dantarion was working on this a long time ago, but I don't believe he's continuing with it.
