Music from other games?

Well, today we see the CD as an item. This looks an awful like the trophies and stickers. If we got this first, I may have thought CD's would be replacing trophies, instead of stickers. So then I thought, perhaps the CD's will have music on them sometimes from other games. It would be cool, and would work well. Does everyone think likely? Good idea? Horrible idea?

Yeah, the fact that the update says "CDs are the way you add to your music selection" and talked about how you could have songs from any stage playing, and again, with them saying there's going to be music ripped straight from other games, kinda gives it away.

Most likely not happening although it would be AWESOME if Streets of Rage music was in since Koshiro Yuzo is on the composer list.

Or Parasite Eve music since Shimomura Yoko is on the list also. O_O

This is an awesome triple update...the person who made the music for Kingdom Hearts is on the list, meaning MAYBE there's KH music...I can imagine, playing on Castle Seige with the Axel boss battle music in the background. Pure awesomeness!

But yeah, I doubt it. The 3rd party stuff's getting out of hand. I could understand music from... say, JOy Mech Fight and not have a rep. Because that really was awesome fighting music.

I'll kill you. PE is my fave RPG ever. Don't bother with the second one though. Shimomura didn't even do the soundtrack.

I'm kidding. lol. I liked the story, but Eve walked so slowly, I couldn't play anymore. I just wanted my friend beat it. Beastly soundtrack.

I'm sure Sakurai is gonna tell someone to use their music for a stage... maybe the battle music from Super Mario RPG.

EDIT: Yeah, I played the second one. AHH!! I have never seen a worse game!

I hope that the wild battle and Trainer battle music from Ruby and Sapphire are in. they were in Coliseum in a new arrangement and I loved those music

Awesome idea, stickers are gay and, personally, i'm impressed with sakurai's devotion to the high standards he's keeping on the musical compositions. They sound..glorious, if you will. Like, this game, while i still have my doubts now and then, seems to have a bit more spirit put into it then melee. Keeps me upbeat.

it would make sense to add music from other game that conidering Sakurai is using characters and (possibly) stages that are not from Nintendo history (^^)v

I believe that only Mario music will be selectable on a Mario stage, and Zelda music on a Zelda stage. Same thing for all the other game series.

Although I do wonder how many songs the respective series will have.

One thing I noticed: Ridley's Music may not be the music for a certain stage, it might very well be just one additional Metroid song that got added.

I'm also looking forward to see which songs will be included from Donkey Kong, Starfox and Kirby. For Kirby, it would be nice to have the Magma Flows music from Kirby Air Ride.
