multiple brael- setups with one sd

I know it doesn't work with textures and expecting a no, but is it possible to start up brawl- then start another setup and still have the first brawl minusing it up?

No, it is not possible. The game loads the character files from the sd card. If you remove the sd card you will just have the global mechanics and vBrawl character files. You will need an sd card for each setup.
