Hello Smashboards!
I've scoured the boards here and there looking up tips and practicing from time to time, but fell out of the habit of playing Smash for a year or so. But coming back to find PM already finished and players using computers to play over the internet let me wondering: "Do I have what I need to join in on that fun?"
To my surprise, the answer was yes.
The other night I worked tirelessly until my Wii U pro controller was working with the Dolphin emulator and managed to get a few games on Smashladder and got thrashed. That part was expected, but I was happy enough that my computer and connection were satisfactory to meet my Smash Bros needs.
So I'm playing basically a big slew of characters (a multifarious barrage, if you would) until I iron out a main or two. Usually like keeping up with more than one character.
I did only play Project M online last night, but I suppose that means I can play Melee or Brawl as well, even have a 2DS if anyone wants to play Smash 3DS.
I hope to improve my lackluster skills and make some friends here, and have some more fun with a series that has entertained me for years!
