Mr. Driller (Susumu) For Brawl!
Mr Driller is a puzzle/action game series in which you dig through various colored blocks,
like these:
Susumu, the main character of the series, could be a reasonable Namco rep for Brawl.
Moves:
B: Drill
Standard drill to the side. Does minimal damage and knockback. Hold B to keep drilling.
B>: Fireball
Shoots a fireball out of the drill which goes straight through the air. Does medium damage
and minimal knockback.
Bv: Brown Block
A brown block appears in front of Susumu, and if an enemy attacks it, they are stunned for
a short time. Similair to counter in a way.
B^: Angel
An angel, which usually appears when you die in the games, picks up Susumu and lifts him for
a short distance. Direction can be controlled during the move.
Final Smash: Items On
Susumu's power-ups from Mr. Driller DS are activated. Speed and power are increased, and
Susumu gets a bubble shield protecting him from all attacks. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Alt. Colors:
Diff. Drillers
Taunt: "Lucky!"
Mr. Driller does a thumbs up and says "Lucky!", like in the DS Version when you pick up air.
Victory Poses:
1. Thumbs Up And "Clear!"
2. Laughs And "LET'S DRILL!"
3. Loses control of his drill, turns it off, and blushes
Character Intro:
Drills out of the ground.
Stage: Drill Caverns
Players start at the top of the drill cavern and by attacking the blocks, work their way down.
Along the way, falling blocks and drill bosses will occasionally wreak havoc. Once through the
cavern, the players will fall into the Treasure Room, which will have a different backround every time.
After a while of being in the Treasure Room, the players will be transported back to the top of
the cavern.
Subspace Boss: Drill Robot
The robot on the top of this picture would hover above the stage shooting down out of its flower-like
guns. It would occasionally go down through the screen, damaging any players who are hit. To damage
the robot, the player would have to hit the flowers while the robot passes by during its drill attack.
