movies based on video games

doom, super mario bros, tomb raider, animal crossing, resident evil, prince of persia, even a bunch of fan made movies they all suck as much as you hate to admit it i noticed though 2 things
1.) they dont follow the story
2.) they ussually dont have real actors

some are decent like resident evil but... no its lame ive allways wanted live action movies of my favrite games like:
pokemon-
imagine a blastoise with realistic avatar like graphics fighting a charizard to the death with cool characters and lots of violence
digimon-
same as pokemon just with GIANT monsters destroying buildings >:D
metroid-
if done right it could be the next star wars it would have outstanding graphics i would watch a saga of metroid...
ZELDA-
it would become the next lord of the rings and DEFFINEITLLY become one of the greatests sagas ever given to the right director


all these could be amazing but wont happen because only fans could understand heck even halo would be beast but they have cancelled most of these movies....
what are your thoughts on the matter

I always thought sonic could make use of a good movie.

Check out the fast paced scenes in the intro of Sonic Unleashed and tell me that's not movie-worthy

sonic also did movie worthy with adventure 2 battle & directors cut XD

Make No More Heroes 1&2, and then make Scott Pilgrim vs NMH

nmh would be exellent... scott pilgrim isent even a video game but is like nmh lol
