Movies based on other material

[Super Akuma]

Do you hate it when you're watching a movie and it's based on a book or video game and people insult it for not being like what it is based on? I personally do. I just don't think it's right to judge a movie by how well it goes to the material it's based on. For instance, Super Mario Brothers, I loved it, but alot of people will say junk about it not being like the videogame. I find this immature. A movie should be judged as a movie and only a movie.
